Proprietor's Office
The Proprietor's Office was restored in 2025, find more information about the restoration process here.
This room acted as Sebastian Fryfogel’s office where he would host small meetings, friends for drinks, and work on his general paperwork for the tavern and as a reeve for South Easthope. During the 1930's & 1940's this room was converted into a kitchen for the Rankin sister's tea room.

The closet in this room originally only had access through the office, but in the 1860’s when the building got converted into a family home they built a door in the lower hallway and turned it into a bedroom for one of their sons. The doorway from the office had glass panels installed above it in order to get more light in there during the day.
